GallopTrack, ECA Beginnings
With experience of over 20 years Track Surface Development and installations Ian Pearse from Pro ride Racing has teamed up with Michael White to address some of the racing industry ongoing concerns of hard crossings, heavy traffic access areas and uneven training tracks. This partnership is known by the company name Gallop Track and Equine Crossing Australia. It has caught the attention of some of the leading racing establishments with the installation of newly developed technology named Gallop Track.
The company formed by this partnership and the track profile has improved track performance, horse welfare and most importantly Jockey Safety.
The past experience of track installations at some of the leading Trainers, clubs and the renowned Breeders Cup in California and the issues faced within the racing industry has identified two other major areas of race and training tracks.
Crossing Hardness are a major concern to Jockey Safety and ongoing Horse injuries and breakdowns. Trying to provide a crossing area to the infield training tracks, with water carts, buses, cars and club maintenance equipment all using it and then expect the crossing to perform the same as Turf on race day is extremely difficult until now.
Watering of Training Tracks has always been a headache to track managers, trying to water the tracks in wind produces an inconsistent deep sand profile in the tracks and is the cause of many horse injuries. All track managers will state above ground watering systems are ongoing issue when trying to produce an all-year-round high-performance sand surface.
Gallop Track has resolved these issues with their technology solutions.
