Testimonial from Victorian Jockey’s Association

The Victorian Jockey’s Association (VJA) was made aware of the Company, Equine Crossings Australia
(ECA) over twelve months ago when they installed the new Rebound Safety Crossing at Flemington as
a trial.

As we all are aware, dangerous Crossings in Australia have been an ongoing concern to all who
participate in the Racing Industry.
The VJA’s priority is the Safety of our Jockeys and we have been closely monitoring the installations at
Flemington, Ballarat, and Sandown Race Clubs.
Our members have now had time to assess the new Rebound Safety Crossings with undeniable
support to the safety, performance, cushion, and consistency of these Crossings.
Our leading Jockeys along with the VJA are in full support to these Rebound Safety Crossing’s and
believe the increased safety to Jockey’s is paramount and believe all clubs should endeavour to have
this updated technology.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Hyland
Chief Executive Officer
 Victorian Jockeys Association
